Today I saw a friend of mine from like 8 years ago. We met up about 5 years ago. It is amazing to me how she is still the same person. I would like to think that I have grown up since then. She is married with a baby on the way and yet she is still into herself so much. Normally when I go out with friends it is all about the stuff we have in common, and we share in conversation. She mostly talked and when I did have time to respond, I didn't have anything to say.
Plus, I really get annoyed when people say, 'you'll understand when you're pregnant', especially when they know that we are having trouble in that department.
We are supposed to see each other again in a few months after the baby is born. I am hopeful that things will be better and I sure hope so...
